Product Description:
The AM8032-CE20-0000 is a synchronous servo motor manufactured by Beckhoff and supplied within the AM Synchronous Servo Motors series. Designed for closed-loop motion platforms, the unit produces commanded torque and velocity so that packaging stations, gantry axes, or assembly tooling can follow exact position profiles. When used with matching Beckhoff drives, it supports deterministic control cycles that help maintain accuracy even when process loads fluctuate.
Power and feedback conductors exit through a rotatable angular connector or terminal box, so cable runs can be oriented without stressing the leads. The mounting interface follows a 72 mm flange size, allowing the motor to bolt directly onto gearheads or machine frames that use the same bolt circle. Rotor position is reported by an OCT multi-turn encoder, which provides absolute position data over multiple revolutions and eliminates the need for homing after shutdowns. Because the design is supplied without a holding brake, vertical loads must be secured by mechanical locking or motor torque when power is removed. The motor uses an E winding, which sets coil resistance and inductance so the connected drive can supply the proper current range for continuous and peak operation.
The motor uses a standard motor series type configuration, so its housing materials, shaft seals, and thermal characteristics follow Beckhoff's baseline design for this platform. The overall length code 2 keeps the stator relatively short, which helps conserve space in compact equipment where multiple axes are installed close together. It belongs to the broader Synchronous Servomotors product family and is supplied in a standard version configuration. This product family uses common accessories such as tapered-shaft couplings and axial fan kits.
