Product Description:
The AM8032-1H21-0000 is a synchronous servo motor produced by Beckhoff for the AM Synchronous Servo Motors series. The device is intended for closed-loop industrial automation where rapid and precise rotary motion drives positioning tables, packaging machines, or assembly tools. As a standard type in the series, it maintains dimensional consistency with other AM motors and supports uniform installation across multi-axis systems.
The holding brake is energized with 24 VDC, so a low-voltage supply can operate both the control logic and the brake circuit. Rotor position is returned over an OCT multi-turn encoder, giving absolute feedback across multiple revolutions and removing the need for a homing cycle at startup. The mounting interface uses a 72 mm square flange that follows IEC sizing conventions and supports direct coupling to compatible gearboxes. A holding brake provides 2 Nm to 3.5 Nm of static torque, depending on the selected length variant. Thermal behavior and current density are linked to winding code H, which is used for this frame size.
Installation flexibility is provided by a Rotatable angular connector or terminal box, allowing the cable exit direction to be adjusted after the motor is mounted. During power-off, the holding brake mechanically locks the shaft, which helps prevent load drift on vertical axes without relying on drive torque. Power is transferred through a Shaft with groove and feather key, manufactured to DIN 6885, so couplings with standardized keyways can be fitted without additional machining. The motor uses length code 2, which keeps the housing compact. The standard mechanical version remains suitable for general servo applications that require consistent mounting and feedback integration.
