Product Description:

The AM8031-2C100-0000 from Beckhoff is a permanent magnet-excited three-phase synchronous servomotor designed for high-speed and precision motion control. The motor is designed with a flange code F3 (72 mm) and features a strong aluminum housing that is finished with a dark gray powder coating similar to RAL7016.

The AM8031-2C100-0000 Synchronous servo motor provides a standstill torque of 1.40 Nm and a rated torque of 1.30 Nm that supports a rated speed of 9000 rpm and a rated power of 1.23 kW. The motor operates within a voltage range of 100–480 V AC and uses convection for cooling that ensures stable operation without the need for additional fans. The motor length is 75 mm and the flange diameter is 72 mm that provides a compact form factor for space-constrained installations. The protection class is IP54 as standard and can be upgraded to IP65 with a shaft seal for enhanced ingress protection. The mounting form is flange-mounted and supports IM B5, IM V1, and IM V3 configurations that offer flexibility in installation.

The AM8031-2C100-0000 synchronous servo motor has feedback that is based on resolvers and may be used with absolute encoders, which allow for accurate position control and the ability to be integrated with sophisticated drive systems. Certifications from CE, cURus, and EAC indicate that the motor is safe to use in settings with temperatures ranging from 5 to 40 degrees Celsius. For safe electrical connections, the technology makes use of the itec® plug. For compatibility with common mechanical interfaces, the motor is designed with a 14 mm shaft diameter and a 30 mm free shaft end. The servo motor can run continuously without the need for forced ventilation due to its convection cooling system, which also means it does not require maintenance.
