The AM8031-0F20-0000 is a magnificent synchronous motor that boasts a powerful OCT multi-turn encoder and iTec connection technology. It employs natural convection to facilitate cooling of the motor’s internal and surface temperature. When allowed to rest for about 2 hours, the motor is guaranteed to have reached thermal equilibrium with its surroundings. The AM8031-0F20-0000 incorporates a smooth shaft that allows several loads and gears to be connected with no special requirements. Without a 24 VDC holding/blocking brake, the AM8031-0F20-0000 maintains its original rotor moment of inertia of 0.47 kg (cm^2).
