The AM8022-0E11-1002 is a synchronous motor equipped with permanent magnets made from neodymium materials, allowing it to maintain an impressively low inertia during operation. The motor is part of Beckhoff Automation AM synchronous motor series, it is perfectly suited for use in several applications, including packaging, textile, and food processing machines. This motor unit has a flange size of about 58 millimeters; it is also equipped with an output shaft that features a shaft sealing ring, which maintains the IP65 design of the whole motor unit. The shaft has a smooth design allows it to support high loads during operation without problem. There is a high-resolution resolver present in the motor; the resolver acts as a feedback unit, allowing drive controllers to keep track of the motor according to pre-determined configuration instructions.

The AM8022-0E11-1002 servo motor is equipped with a permanent magnet holding brake designed to retain the load connected to the shaft when it is at standstill.
