The AM8022-0E11-1002 is a permanent-magnet synchronous servo motor produced by Beckhoff for the AM Synchronous Servo Motors series. It converts drive current into controlled rotary motion for conveyors, pick-and-place heads, and small packaging spindles. Its compact design supports precision positioning in industrial automation applications where installation space is limited.
The motor has a flange width of 58 mm, which allows direct attachment to compatible IEC-size gearboxes. Under continuous load, the motor delivers 0.61 kW at a base speed of 9000 rpm, producing a rated torque of 0.65 Nm. Peak mechanical demand can be met with 4.18 Nm, while the torque constant of 0.33 Nm/A indicates how much current the servo drive requires for a given load. At standstill, the motor can hold 0.80 Nm without forced cooling. Six rotor poles establish the relationship between shaft speed and electrical frequency, and an OCT single-turn encoder supplies absolute position feedback. Winding code E identifies the electromagnetic section, while overall length index 2 keeps the package short. Natural convection removes heat from the housing without an auxiliary fan. The motor is designed for use with compatible Beckhoff AX drives, which regulate current, speed, torque, and position through a closed control loop.
