The AM8021-0DH0-0000 is a synchronous servo motor from Beckhoff Automation. It is part of the AM synchronous motor series and is equipped with a smooth output shaft. It is able to provide a high torque supply while maintaining a low operation inertial. The motor contains a one cable technology (OCT) multiturn encoder that operates at a resolution of 24 bits. This encoder design uses thermal contact wires for feedback communication, allowing for fast torque transmission with high resistance to communication interference. The AM8021-0DH0-0000 motor design also maintains no contact between the rotor and status, there are no slip rings, and commutation is done electrically to provide a longer service life for the motor unit.
