Product Description:
The AM3073-0Q30-0000 is a three-phase servo motor produced by Beckhoff for the AM Synchronous Servo Motors series. It converts current from a compatible servo amplifier into controlled rotary torque for positioning and velocity applications. Suitable uses include gantries, packaging axes, feeder tables, and other automated machinery that requires accurate motion. The motor operates as part of a closed-loop system in which feedback allows the drive to correct position and speed as operating loads change.
Power and signal leads exit through a rotatable angular connector or terminal box, allowing cable routing to be adjusted for the available installation space. Rotor position is reported by a Hiperface single-turn encoder with 128 SinCos periods from F6, providing absolute position data immediately after power-up without requiring a homing routine. The square mounting interface uses a 194 mm flange pattern for attachment to rigid gearbox flanges or machine plates. The motor is supplied without a holding brake, so a static load must be secured by drive torque or an external braking device when the axis is stopped. Adjustable connector orientation also helps keep power and feedback cables clear of nearby machine components while reducing strain at the motor connection.
The motor has an overall length code of 3, placing its stator stack in the middle length range available for this motor family. It is supplied as the Standard version, without special coatings or heavy-duty options. Mechanical output is transferred through a smooth shaft, so a clamping coupling can transmit torque without relying on a keyway. The stator uses a Q winding code associated with the electrical resistance and inductance values required by compatible drive settings. Correct drive parameters allow current to be regulated during rapid acceleration while keeping motor operation within its intended thermal limits.
