Product Description:
The AM3065-0N00 is a servo motor engineered by Beckhoff as part of the AM Synchronous Servo Motors series. It converts commanded current from a compatible drive into controlled rotary motion for CNC stages, packaging machinery, and indexing tables. Accurate torque and speed control supports point-to-point positioning as well as continuous-path motion on automated production equipment. Electronic regulation allows the connected drive to correct motion as operating conditions change, helping the axis maintain the commanded position and velocity throughout each cycle.
Mechanical integration is simplified by a flange measuring 142 mm, which gives the housing a square registration surface compatible with common IEC interfaces. The output end uses a smooth shaft, allowing torque to be transferred through a clamp or compression hub without a keyed connection. Rotor position is monitored by a two-pole resolver, so the drive receives angular feedback for sinusoidal commutation and closed-loop motion control. Resolver feedback is well suited to industrial machinery because its analog signals remain dependable under vibration and changing operating temperatures. The motor is supplied without a holding brake, so an external holding device or drive-applied torque must retain the load when stationary. Omitting the brake also eliminates the associated brake wiring and helps keep the motor’s overall length compact.
The motor has a standard build without a length extension or specialized cooling option. Its electrical behavior is established by the N winding code, which indicates the voltage constant and rated-current characteristics used when matching the motor to an AX5000 servo inverter. Correct drive configuration allows the current regulator to provide controlled torque without exceeding the intended electrical operating range. The motor falls within the Synchronous Servomotors product category, which includes rotary motors intended for feedback-based position, speed, and torque control. Its dimensional arrangement, feedback interface, and electrical connection format support installation alongside related Beckhoff motion components. Suitable cable routing and a rigid flange connection help preserve feedback quality and shaft alignment during repeated acceleration, deceleration, and positioning cycles.
