Product Description:
The AM3052-0K40-0000 is a synchronous servo motor built by Beckhoff for the AM Synchronous Servo Motors series. As a rotary drive component, it is intended to provide high-precision torque and speed regulation in industrial automation platforms that rely on EtherCAT or other real-time fieldbuses for coordinated motion. By combining compact mechanical dimensions with digital feedback, the motor supports accurate positioning of pick-and-place heads, feeder shafts, and small gantry axes. Its synchronous design helps maintain repeatable motion during rapid start-stop cycles where stable speed response and precise position updates are required.
To simplify wiring, the stator housing uses a rotatable angular connector that can be oriented after installation. The motor bolts to machinery through a 104 mm square IEC flange, and its output end uses a smooth shaft so torque is transferred through clamp or press-fit couplings without a keyway. The unit is supplied without a holding brake, so stopping or holding torque must be managed externally. Rotor position and multi-turn revolution data are sent to the drive by a Hiperface multi-turn 128 SinCos encoder signal from the F6 sensor, supporting high-resolution velocity loops and automatic electronic nameplate reading.
Dimensional depth is referenced by the overall length code 2, which gives a repeatable outline when several frame lengths share the same flange. Electromagnetic characteristics follow winding code K, allowing the matched drive to apply the correct voltage constant and rated current without oversizing. The motor is the standard motor series type, so thermal dissipation, vibration limits, and lubrication intervals follow the baseline parameters used for this motor line. This keeps the description clear without introducing special coatings or extended-duty variants that are not part of this model.
