Product Description:
AM3044-1E41-0000 is a high-performance motor with features optimized for industrial applications. A name plate on the housing enables easy identification. The motor has a brushless design. Carbon brushes were used in older generations of motor for commutation. They suffered from wear and tear during operation and required frequency replacement. Furthermore, sparks caused during motor operation rendered brushed motors unsuitable for a wide range of operating environment. AM3000 motors use electronic commutation: the commutation circuit does not require replacement, and the motors can be used in a wider range of environments. AM3000 motors are deployed with servo drives that supply three-phase AC power and control motor speed and torque. Permanent magnets used for rotor construction allow low rotor inertial. An integrated temperature sensor on the windings prevents overheating and overload.
Multiple feedback sensors are available, as well as an optional holding brake. The AM3044-1E41-0000 motor comes with an integrated multi turn encoder as well as the optional brake. The encoder features a high-performance BISS interface. The main shaft features a feather key and groove. An 84 millimeter flange on the housing provides a means for secure motor mounting. Under ideal operating conditions and 400 Volts AC input, the AM3044-1E41-0000 motor delivers 3.92 Nm rated torque, 2500 RPM shaft speed and 1.03 kilowatts power. Cooling method for which the motor is designed is convection cooling. The connection to the servo drive is via an M23 industrial connector. The specified ambient temperature for operation is 5 to 40 degrees Celsius. The non-condensing relative humidity should be kept between 5 and 95%. Output of the motor derates above 1000 meters altitude. The derating is 6% at 2000 meters, and reaches 55% at 5000 meters AMSL.
