Product Description:
The AM3043-0E41-0000 is a synchronous servo motor produced by Beckhoff within the AM Synchronous Servo Motors series. As a compact rotary actuator, it converts drive-stage output into precise shaft motion for positioning, indexing, and continuous-speed duties in automated machinery. Its electromagnetic design delivers rapid torque buildup, enabling coordinated axis movement in packaging stations, assembly lines, and semiconductor tools, while the permanent-magnet rotor and low-loss stator support high peak acceleration without excessive heating during continuous duty.
A brake coil rated at 24 VDC allows the controller to actuate the brake from a common control supply. Mounting to gearheads or machine frames uses an 87 mm square flange whose pilot keeps the stator concentric with the load. Power, feedback, and brake conductors exit through a rotatable angular connector, so cable routing can be aligned with the cabinet layout. Position feedback comes from a Hiperface multi-turn 128 SinCos from F6 encoder, which supports absolute position tracking after power cycles. This feedback arrangement supports stable closed-loop operation during startup and normal running. During downtime or emergency stops, the brake supplies a holding torque of 9 Nm to resist back-driving forces on vertical or rotary axes.
The motor uses a smooth shaft, which simplifies coupling to clamp hubs and avoids keyway-induced stress concentrations. This shaft style also supports compact drivetrain layouts where backlash control and straightforward alignment are important. The housing has an overall length code of 3, keeping the body short enough for tight installation zones. It uses winding code E, which matches the electrical characteristics expected by compatible AX5000 inverters. The motor is supplied in the Standard series configuration.
