The AM3042-0G01-0000 brushless servo motor is one of the members of the AM servo motor series that are a group of capable and efficient motors for application in automation tasks in machine tools and transfer lines. The motor comes with electronic commutation capability since it is brushless. It has a neodymium permanent magnet that is responsible for its technical profile. The unit comes with thermistors also for monitoring temperature and protection against overload. It features a feedback mechanism and a bearing with a service life of 20,000 operating hours for reliable operations. The matte black finish on the unit is quite robust but must be saved from solvents like thinners for a longer life.
The AM3042-0G01-0000 servo motor is fairly equipped to operate in a temperature range of 5 to 40 degree Celsius with just natural convection. The unit can be commissioned in tight spaces and has integrated resolver, BiSS, EnDat 2.1 for feedback of the rotor.
