Product Description:
The AM3032-0C30-0000 is a synchronous servo motor produced by Beckhoff and included in the AM Synchronous Servo Motors series. As a compact rotary actuator for industrial automation, it converts drive current into precise torque and speed so that machine axes can follow tight motion profiles in packaging, assembly, and material-handling tasks. Integrated feedback support allows the connected drive to regulate motion accurately during positioning and speed-controlled operation. Its compact form also suits tightly spaced axes where repeatable motion and controlled acceleration are required over short cycle times.
Electrical and mechanical integration are simplified because the housing can use either a rotatable angular connector or a terminal box, allowing power and feedback cables to exit in the required direction without strain. Position data are returned through a Hiperface single-turn 128 SinCos sensor from the F6 family, giving the linked drive controller high-resolution feedback for smooth interpolation. A 72 mm flange provides the mounting interface and lets the motor bolt directly to gearboxes or machine frames of the same size class. Because the unit is supplied without a holding brake, any static load must be supported by an external locking device or by drive torque when power is off.
The motor uses a smooth shaft that mates with clamp couplings or friction-fit pulleys and avoids keyway stress concentrations. Its internal copper layout uses winding code C, which corresponds to the voltage constants and current draw required by compatible EtherCAT drives. The motor also uses overall length code 2, indicating the shorter rotor stack available in this frame and helping reduce inertia for faster acceleration. It is supplied in the standard version, which keeps the configuration aligned with the baseline option set for this motor type.
