The AM3032-0C01-0000 is Beckhoff Automation's response to customers' demand for a synchronous motor unit that can reliably support the operation of production and processing industrial machines with high power requirements. This motor unit features a brushless design and is internationally renowned for its operation efficiency, which can be as high as 95 per cent. The motor is also a three-phase unit that can be used in several applications, including machine tools, transfer lines, and robotic devices. Unlike traditional motor units, the magnets present in this motor design are made from neodymium material, which plays a major role in the motor's impressive dynamic properties. The commutation of this motor unit is also implemented electronically into the servo drive controller connected to it.

The AM3032-0C01-0000 synchronous motor is at little risk of overtemperature damage; this is due to the temperature sensors that have been integrated into its stator windings. These sensors are signaled to the controller through an electronically isolated thermistor; the controller, in turn, alerts the operators or automatically shuts down the motor.
