When operated with matched EtherCAT-based amplifiers, it converts electrical energy into controllable mechanical torque and supports repeatable motion cycles in printing, electronics assembly, and secondary packaging lines.
It attaches to power and signal wiring through a rotatable angular connector or terminal box, allowing cable routing to match the cabinet layout and reduce cable stress. Position feedback comes from a two-pole resolver, so the drive receives rotor angle information for commutation during low-speed operation. A mounting interface of 58 mm on the flange matches DIN dimensions for gearheads and couplings. This variant is supplied without a holding brake, so any static load must be secured by drive torque or an external mechanical lock when power is removed.
