Its electrical design connects directly to the manufacturer’s AX5000 drive family, allowing deterministic motion profiles over EtherCAT networks.
Mechanical mounting is centered on a 40 mm square flange that aligns with IEC and NEMA micro-frame gearboxes. Feedback is supplied by an OCT multi-turn encoder with a resolution of 23 bits, enabling the drive to register 8,388,608 distinct shaft positions per revolution and track up to 4,096 turns without battery support. A built-in holding brake is powered from a separate control rail rated at 24 V DC. Isolating the brake coil from the main power bus simplifies safety circuits and permits emergency clamping during a loss of mains power.
