The X20CP1485-1 controller belongs to the X20 series that is manufactured by B & R Automation. The design is well refined owing to years of experience of B&R Automation in manufacturing industrial equipment. Moreover, it requires minimal manual wiring for a convenient installation process. The X20CP1485-1 has a smart intel Celeron 400 performance processor with additional I/O processor with an onboard ethernet, Powerlink, and USB connection. The unit offers modular interface expansion as it has 1 slot for the same and it has compact flash as removable application memory. The interesting part about its design is that it is a fan less controller and thus produces least sound and consumes lesser power. The system can be mounted in both vertical and horizontal orientations. It comes with an IP 20 protection rating where as it boasts a operating temperature of 0 to 55 degree Celsius in horizontal and 0 to 50 degree Celsius in vertical orientation. The controller can be stored and transported in a temperature range of -25 to 70 degree Celsius.
