The B&R Automation X20 Series model X20AI8321 is an advanced analog input module that is specifically developed for use in industrial applications where accurate and reliable measurement is essential. The ADC of each channel is of high-resolution 12-bit to provide accurate input and output measurements. The module also incorporates a third-order low pass filter with a cut-off frequency of 1 kHz that assists in the elimination of unwanted signals to enhance the accuracy of the measurement. This is especially useful in the industrial setting as electromagnetic interference is always rife. At a standard operating temperature of 25 degrees C, the module exhibits good precision with a maximum gain error of 0. 08% for the 0 to 20mA range. Currently, it is 1% for the 4 to 20mA range.
