The unit integrates a 6.3 A slow blow 250 V glass fuse that offers protection against reverse polarity and overloads. The fuse compartment is conveniently located behind the module door. It generates internal voltages from a 24 VDC input voltage that is critical for PLC operations. Each main and expansion unit requires a dedicated power supply module. The module must be placed in the far left backplane slot and occupies two slots. The READY relay contact features a normally open design. It supports a maximum switching voltage of 30 VDC and a maximum switching current of 3 A. It provides transient voltage protection using a 370 V diode to ground.
