Product Description:
The flexible 3NC352.6 I/O module is equipped with various distinctive features like three route measurement inputs/outputs, three digital inputs, and one digital output. Users can see the status of the module via LED indicators and software, such as module status, position encoder, or output diagnostics. It consumes 1.7 W from a 24 VDC power supply and 2.3 W from a 5 VDC source, thus giving a total power consumption of 4.0 W when in operation. Just between the PLC and the inputs/outputs plus encoders, but not among encoders and inputs/outputs, electrical isolation exists. The CE, UKCA, and cULus (E115267) certifications indicate that this module meets industrial control equipment requirements.
These take up to sink input circuits that have a hardware input filter response time of ^212 us and are rated at a nominal voltage of 24 VDC. Other features include but are not limited to gate or period measurement, a 32-bit AB counter, and an event counter with 32 bits. The route measurement inputs and outputs are accessed through a female DSUB connection with nine pins, as well as having an initialization pulse width of 1.6 us.
This powers the encoder externally with an ability to deliver custom-made overvoltage/undervoltage monitoring, along with short circuit protection. Another feature is its multi-magnet capability, which enables it to measure four magnets simultaneously. It is also compatible with ultrasonic transducers supporting gate, stop and start/stop types plus the RS422 interface. The error should be considered ~25 ppm ~5 ppm/year-route measuring input/output accuracy. Path Measurement Precision = 0.01 mm; -20.97 ^2 x ^2 +20.97; Speed Measurement Resolution = 0.1 mm/s; ~2097 m/s.
Frequently Asked Questions about 3NC352.6:
Q: What types of inputs and outputs are supported by the 3NC352.6 module?
A: The 3NC352.6 module supports three path measurement inputs/outputs, three digital inputs, and one digital output. It also includes special functions such as 32-bit event counters, AB counters, and gate or period measurement.
Q: How does the 3NC352.6 module handle power consumption?
A: The module operates with a total power consumption of 4.0 W, drawing 1.7 W from a 24 VDC source and 2.3 W from a 5 VDC source. It provides electrical isolation between the inputs/outputs and the PLC, and between the encoders and the PLC.
Q: What are the specifications for the digital inputs of the 3NC352.6 module?
A: The digital inputs support a nominal voltage of 24 VDC and use sink input circuits with a hardware input filter response time of ^212 us. They offer additional functions such as 32-bit event counting, AB counting, and gate or period measurement.
Q: What are the accuracy and measurement capabilities of the path measuring inputs/outputs?
A: The path measuring inputs/outputs have an accuracy of ~25 ppm ~5 ppm/year. The speed measurement resolution is 0.1 mm/s with a measurement range of ~209.7 m/s, and the path measurement resolution is 0.01 mm with a range of ~20.97 m. These inputs/outputs are accessible via a 9-pin female DSUB connector.
Q: What are the environmental operating conditions for the 3NC352.6 module?
A: The module operates within a temperature range of 0 to 60C and can be stored at temperatures between -25 to 70C. It functions effectively in relative humidity levels from 5 to 95% and offers an IP20 degree of protection as per EN 60529 standards.
