The module is powered from a nominal control voltage of 24 VDC, and it offers 16 digital input points arranged in four electrically separated groups. An input hardware filter of ≤1.2 ms suppresses contact bounce so the controller receives clean edge information. Field devices can be supplied with up to 30 VDC without damaging the circuitry, while the housing has a protection rating of IP20, indicating finger-safe terminals for cabinet installation.
