B&R Automation manufactures the 3AO775.6 analog output module for the System 2005 Controllers series. Designed for DIN-rail assemblies inside a control cabinet, the module converts digital setpoints from the CPU into controlled current loops. By providing deterministic analog drive signals, it supports closed-loop regulation of actuators, variable-speed drives, and other field devices used in assembly cells, process skids, and packaging equipment. Because it integrates directly on the local I/O bus, wiring is reduced and update latency remains predictable.

Separate power pins feed the analog circuitry. The 24 V DC rail draws 4.5 W, while the isolated 5 V DC rail requires 1.0 W, which helps keep heat dissipation moderate on the backplane.
