From the MDP CPU Controller family, the B&R Automation MDPIF1-0 is a panel-mounted distribution block that is utilized in industrial control systems.
This is a one-pole unit rated at 175A at 600V. This unit would provide excellent power branching with safe and efficient high-current ratings. The line side holds wire sizes 1/0 to 14 AWG, whereas the load side can have up to six wires, with three size 6, three size 14 AWG. This provides panel and cabinet flexibility in wiring. It has the short circuit current rating (SCCR) of 100kA, which provides good protection and ensures compliance with systems that have high-fault potential. The MDPIF1-0 is constructed using a thermoplastic foundation and tin-plated copper conductors, which make it durable, and it has good electrical conductivity. Its flame rating of UL94 V-0 ensures that fire won't spread, which is crucial when using it in a hazardous or confined environment.
The line side (4.5 N m) and the load side (2.8 N · m) torque specifications are thermally supporting reliable and secure electrical connections.
