The MCNT30-0 is a MCN power supply module developed by B & R Automation that delivers consistent performance for automation applications. It offers a controlled DC output at a stable nominal voltage of 24V that can be used by sensitive electronic systems.

The MCNT30-0 power supply module contains two UC3525AN voltage mode PWM controllers to provide high accuracy when controlling power on a dynamic load. It also has 6 rectification and fast recovery switching diodes that make sure there is effective current direction and fast reverse recovery. The power module external fuse interface provides the overcurrent protection and this can have a system level defense against loading faults. It has 3 high efficiency NPN switching transistors that handle the fast power switching with minimum energy waste. The MCNT30-0 power supply module uses 4 copper wound toroidal EMI chokes installed on the design to prevent conducted noise and achieve electromagnetic compliance. Its operating thermal range extends to the industrial environmental range of -25°C and +60°C. The 8 high capacitance aluminum electrolytic capacitors assist in ripple smoothing and stable buffering of voltage. Its one polyester film bypass capacitor improves noise suppression in the high frequency regions. The 3 power interface terminals, a screw terminal block barrel jack and a male pinhead connector provide maximum flexibility for connecting to different configurations. It also enables intelligent signal integration using its input/output compatibility.

The MCNT30-0 supply module features quality thermal control and sound mechanical design. It has one status LED indicator which allows a clear visualization of the power state during operation. The power module also allows highly scalable I/O expansion to support integration of systems with multiple control layers.
