Product Description:
The ECPPM2-0L is a control module from the ECP series of B & R Automation. It functions as a dedicated parallel processor and independently executes high-speed tasks in real time. This module operates with a voltage of 24 V DC and measures 15.2 cm in length, 5.1 cm in width, 22.9 cm in height and possess a weight of 0.6 kg.
The ECPPM2-0L control module features four 32-bit counters that handle high-speed counting tasks through its two pulse outputs, each supports frequency up to 100 MHz. It is compatible with MIDI/MultiControl systems and Multi PPU1 PM2 systems. This ECP control module is programmable using B & R’s studio software, which simplifies configuration and programming tasks. It features two ±10 V analog outputs for drive control, each with 11 bits of resolution and it accepts feedback from two incremental encoder channels with a maximum input frequency of 50 kHz. The ECP control module’s all I/O signal connections are made via a removable 10-pole terminal block and two D-sub front-panel connectors labeled as G1 and G2.
