Designed to provide energy storage and filtering capabilities in industrial applications, the B&R Automation ECF Memory Module component ECEE96-0 is a high-performance electrolytic capacitor.

With a capacitance of 1000 uF and working at 25 VDC, it supplies steady energy with smoothing power supplies, buffering, and decoupling circuits. The capacitor has a broad range tolerance of +/- 20% which facilitates constant performance across different operating conditions. It is manufactured to work over a very wide operating range of -40°C to +105°C, and is also ideal in industrial and automotive electronics applications. Its low equivalent series resistance (ESR) of 0.12 Ω at 100 kHz makes it more efficient, generates little heat, and the high ripple current rating is 1.68 A at 100 kHz, and 105 °C permits high AC currents to flow without being degraded. The 12.5 mm overall diameter by 20 mm length and 5.0 mm lead spacing provides a smaller radial mounting footprint that is well suited to dense PCB designs.

It has a 2000-hour endurance at 105 °C, making it have a long service life when used continuously. The maximum leakage current is restricted to a maximum of 0.01CV or 3 uA after 2 minutes, which helps in energy conservation and protection of the circuit. The component is compliant with the RoHS requirements, which proves that it does not contain hazardous materials. With an insulation resistance of at least 100 MΩ at 100 VDC, it provides excellent electrical isolation and helps to increase circuit dependability.
