The B & R Automation MCE16A-0 is a safe and powerful electromechanical relay. It belongs to the DI Digital Input PLC Modules series. An electromechanical relay (also called an electromagnetic switch) is a switch in which an electrical signal mechanically opens and closes one or more sets of electrical contacts. This relay has a DPDT (Double Pole Double Throw) type of contact configuration, which enables the relay to switch two different circuits simultaneously. Designed with a 24 VDC coil, the relay supports contact loads of up to 16 amps, making it suitable for managing various electrical systems commonly found in industrial settings.
This module is designed to deliver both high performance and long-lasting durability. It ensures electrical safety and dependable performance by maintaining an insulation resistance of at least 100 M? when tested at 500 VDC.
