The B&R Automation CXC Communication Card accessory, model BRHVCB-0, is a strong, clamp-on lockout equipment that delivers good safety and equipment protection.

The device is made of strong steel and is mounted on a high-quality red powder coating, which is very corrosion resistant, and thus, the device can be used even in long-term industrial environments. The clamp-on design will accept a handle thickness up to 0.6 inches (15 mm) handle width up to 0.4 inches (10 mm), and is widely adaptable to most circuit breakers and switch handles, as well as control handles. The opening of a padlock is up to 0.35-inch (9 mm) to allow the use of padlocks to secure the lock against tampering, as the OSHA 1910.147 section on lockout/tagout standards follows. The device's wide working temperature range of -20°C to +60°C makes it ideal for all operational temperatures, and its storage temperature range of -40°C to +85°C provides stability during long-term storage and transportation.
