The BRCOMP1-0 communication card is packed with two 16-bit analog inputs with adjustable voltage range from ±10 V and current measurement from 0 to 20 mA. The analog channels are also compatible with KTY10 sensors which measure temperature from -50 to +150°C as well as resistance measurements ranging from 0 to 65 k-Ohm. The device has two 12-bit channels for continuous input with a signal output depending on the connection and similar voltage and current ranges from 0 to 20 mA. The connectivity is a key strength with multiple interfaces including an RS232 port, an RS232/RS485 interface, and a PATA interface. Its interface is electrically isolated and designed for network compatibility which helps in enhancing the communication of the card. The TTY online interface includes an electrically isolated receiver to further improve operational stability. It has a highly flexible link card that is designed on compact PLC programs which provides the supply of 24 VDC and has an operation of 6.5 W without a panel.
The BRCOMP1-0 communication card also uses 16 KByte EEPROM and 16 KByte SRAM which makes sure that sufficient instructions can be stored up to 4.7 KB. Also, it sustains an extension memory of 16 KByte EEPROM which supports increased data management in arduous software. It will offer 16 digital inputs each having a fast 2-msec response time with a 24 VDC rating, four counter inputs accepting frequencies up to 20 kHz.
