Product Description:
The X67CA0X41.0050 from B&R Automation is suitable for industrial applications where a single, robust cable must be used for both power supply and communication.
This cable, with a length of 5 meters, makes it easy to wire the automation system because it reduces mess and takes a very short time to install, yet it is highly performing and reliable. This cable has a total of two sets of conductors; the power-based based has 4 conductors, and the Ethernet network communication set has 4 conductors. The cross-sectional area of the power wires is 1.5 mm², up to 300 V, and a maximum of 12 A could be handled by the power wires, used to provide energy to attached field devices. The network cable is rated at 125 V, with a maximum current of 2 A, with 0.25 mm² conductors capable of providing a reliable network connection using the Ethernet protocol in a stable, noise-free medium. The power connector interface is M12, and the network connector interface is D-coded; both types of connectors are compatible with industrial standards.
The cable gets a black PUR (polyurethane) sheath and is extremely resistant to both mechanical loads and environmental stress, as well as resistant to oil contact (per IEC 60811-2-1). It also fulfills flame retardancy as per IEC 60332-1-2, which provides an additional safety cap on installing machines and plants. The cables possess flexibility such that it has a fixed bending radius of 5 times the outer diameter and do not sacrifice durability. It is designed to work in severe conditions, has a temperature range between -40 °C to +80 °C, and its network protection level (when connected) is IP67, against dust, water, and mechanical impact. Signal integrity is ensured across long distances with conductor resistance of ≤ 120 Ω/km at 20 °C.
