Product Description:
The 8ECF0005.1221C-0 is a high-performance cable of CM16 motor cable series. The B & R Automation manufactures it using precision engineering and high-quality requirements. This variant is intended to provide a dependable connection with ACOPOS P3 servo drives and B&R motors.
The 8ECF0005.1221C-0 is a 5-meter ACOPOS P3 EnDat 2.2 cable specifically designed for motion systems. It is compatible with cable drag chains and contains the itec connector system. This product code includes a sturdy PUR outer jacket with a green flat design. The cross section consists of 4x 0.14 mm² and 4x 0.35 mm² tinned copper stranded wires. Signal wires are insulated with polyolefin foam and available in yellow, gray, pink and violet color variations. A foil shield at the end completes the internal stranding. A copper/tin braided shield with optical coverage more than 85% increases durability. It has a 12-pin female series 615 signal connection with IP30 and IP66/IP67 protection certifications. It also includes an 8-pin male Mini I/O encoder connector for greater interface flexibility. The cable has low conductor resistance measuring ≤55 Ω/km for supply lines and ≤134 Ω/km for signal lines. Insulation resistance is rated at 200 MΩ·km. This type can withstand test voltages of up to 1 kV between wires and 0.5 kV wire to shield. It works reliably with power systems below 30 V. The cable has a diameter of 6 mm ±0.2 mm and weighs only 0.3 kg. Bend radius is ≥19 mm for a single bend and >47 mm for dynamic applications.
The 8ECF0005.1221C-0 may use a drag chain with a maximum acceleration of 6 g. It can survive over 3 million flex cycles and reach velocities of up to 4 meters per second. This product is CE, UKCA and UL certified. It can withstand temperatures ranging from -10°C to 80°C during movement and -40°C to 80°C during static operation. The UL style is AWM 20963, with 80°C and 30 V requirements. The CM16 Motor Cables series is known for its strong mechanical robustness and proven efficiency.
