The 8BCM0008.1312A-0 Power Cable is a compact and durable solution for industrial motor applications. It supports power and signal transmission with four power and four signal lines. The cable features an 8 pin female SpeedTec motor connector. It is rated for high voltage operation and protected with an outer TPU jacket for harsh environments.
The power section of the 8BCM0008.1312A-0 power cable includes four tinned copper stranded wires with a 4 mm² cross section. Each conductor is individually color coded in black, brown, blue and yellow/green. The wire insulation is made from polypropylene (PP) and the conductors are unshielded and not stranded. The signal section includes four conductors that consists of two pairs: two with a 0.75 mm² cross-section and two with 1.0 mm². These signal wires are white, white/red, white/blue and white/green in color. Like the power wires, these are also tinned copper stranded and PP insulated. Each signal pair is individually shielded using tinned copper braiding with over 85 % optical coverage along with foil shielding. This dual shielding provides protection from electromagnetic interference. The outer jacket of the cable is made of orange TPU. The 8 pin connector is designed for fewer than 500 mating cycles and supports 8 contacts—4 for power and 4 for signals. When connected, it meets the IP66/67 standard.
