Product Description:
The 80CM05001.21-01 motor cable can work in temperatures from -40° C to +80° C and can hold up to 70 MPa of tension. This part of the CM16 Motor Cables was made by B & R Automation. It is made of Polyamide (PA12) and is particularly resistant to rust. The cable is always 20 meters long, and the inside has four conductors with a rating of 1.5 mm² each, plus two twisted pairs with a rating of 0.75 mm² insulation. An 8-pin Intercontec housing holds the free end in place, which is the same as the normal pin-out on the target device. Another important characteristic is that it works with drag chains. The outer jacket and strain reliefs are designed to last through the bending cycles that robotic arms or moving gantries go through. This kind of robustness keeps the signal clear and cuts down on maintenance, even on manufacturing lines that run a lot of cycles. Stranded structure uses fillers that aren't metal and a spiral foil band. This design choice makes the product more flexible and gives it more mechanical reserve without adding too much weight. The outside of the orange polyurethane-orange to RAL 2003 has embossed marks from UL and CSA so that users can quickly check for North American compliance. The jacket also protects circuits from oil and flames, making it safer in unclean places where embers are likely to start fires. The assembly passes 3 kV of normal impulse testing, and the conductor resistance stays at a maximum of 29 Ω/km. Insulation resistance readings over 200 MΩ/km are good since they indicate that there won't be much leakage while the load is constant.
