These panels are usually combined with link modules to expand their functions.

The 5AP1120.1906-000 is a B&R AP1000 automation panel model with an SXGA resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels. Its display type is TFT color while its display size is 19.0”. Equipped with a highly responsive analog resistive touchscreen, it allows users to navigate the system’s features and enter commands. The transmittance of the touchscreen is 81% ±3%, and its calibration is done with a B&R touch controller. A naturally anodized aluminum frame encloses this automation panel with a 3mm built-in gasket. It also used an LED backlight of dimmable brightness between 35 cd/m² and 350 cd/m².

A USB 2.0 interface with the Type A design is present on the 5AP1120.1906-000. It has a high-speed transfer rate of 480 Mbit/s and a maximum current-carrying capacity of 500mA. According to UL 50, the front of the panel is suitable for Type 4X indoor use only, while its protection category is IP 65 according to EN 60529. This protection rating indicates that the part is touch-proof, dust-proof, and impermeable to water jet sprays. On the other hand, the back of the panel is IP 20-rated, preventing the entry of solid extrinsic materials over 12mm in diameter. With the thermal sensor on its display, damage from thermal overload can be avoided on the panel.
