The 5AP1120.121E-000 is a model of the modular panels in the AP 1000 automation panel series by B&R. It has a landscape display with a 12”1 size and single-touch feature. It features the analog resistive touch technology, which works well with a variety of touch inputs and has low power requirements. With its WXGA resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, it displays information clearly to aid the operation of its system. The panel weighs 2,300g and has a frame that is composed of coated aluminum. Its thermal sensors prevent damage by temperature overload, and it can be safely installed in a control cabinet. Based on UL 50, the front part of this panel is designed for 4X indoor use only.

An LED backlight with dimmable brightness between 40 cd/m² and 400 cd/m² is offered by the 5AP1120.121E-000. It has a half-brightness time of 50,000 h. The transmittance of the panel’s AMT-type touchscreen is 81% ±3%. Its front part has an IP 65 protection rating according to EN 60529, indicating that it is touch-proof, dust-proof, and impenetrable by sprays from water jets. To operate the panel, a nominal voltage of 24V DC with a tolerance of ±25% is required.
