Product Description:
The B & R Automation’s manufactured APCNT1/3 PC Unit is used to support operation in heavy-duty industrial environments. This unit comes with a 24 V nominal input voltage to support steady operation for a wide range of control systems.
This APCNT1/3 PC Unit incorporates both ceramic capacitors and electrolytic capacitors to address numerous electrical requirements. The 680 µF, 16 A electrolytic capacitor provides a high capability in power filtration and storage of energy. The ceramic capacitor uses SMD technology to ensure compactness and low signal path resistance. This unit also features short-circuit, over-current, and over-temperature protection to offer integrated security and uninterrupted operation during conditions of voltage fluctuation or component stresses. This PC unit utilizes a multilayer FR-4 industrial-grade printed circuit board, known for its resistance to temperature and mechanical strength. This board supports both surface mounting and through-hole mounting options to allow versatility for different assembly orientations. Measuring 14 cm x 6 cm x 2 cm and light enough, weighing only 0.1 kg, the APCNT1/3 PC unit is perfect for installation in small areas.
For cooling, the Automation PC Unit APCNT1/3 employs a passive aluminum heatsink to facilitate efficient heat dissipation without active air flow or mechanical components. This APCNT1/3 PC Unit maintains stable operation over a wide range of temperatures, from 25 °C to +70 °C, and supplies stable operation in cold as well as hot industrial environments. This PC unit has two kinds of connectors for flexible integration of a system. One is a 2x3 (6-pin) shrouded male box header with a 2.54 mm pitch used for standard ribbon cable and modular plug-in use. The other is a 2-pin surface-mount JST-style connector, which offers a space-efficient interface for power or signal input.
