Product Description

The B&R 8V1045.00-2 is an ACOPOS servo drive. The drive is designed for three-phase AC input at voltages ranging from 400 to 480 Volts AC. Output power rating of the drive is 2 kilowatts and the output current rating is 2.2 Amps. The 8V1045.00-2 is a modular drive with four slots for optional hardware modules. The permissible power mains forms are TT and TN. The allowed variance in AC input is ±10%.  The line frequencies supported by the drive are 50 Hertz and 60 Hertz with 4% allowed variance. The maximum installed load the drive can handle is 5 kVA. The starting current at 400 Volts AC is 7 Amps. The switch-on interval for the drive unit is more than 10 seconds. An integrated line filter is part of the drive unit.

The maximum power loss at maximum device power without braking resistor is 180 Watts. The output current reduces if the temperature and installation elevation exceed recommended limits. Starting at 500 meters above sea level, the output current reduces by 0.44 Amps per 1000 meters. Switching frequencies supported by the 8V1045.00-2 are 5 / 10 / 20 kilohertz.
