The B&R ACOPOS series 8V1045.00-1 is a 2 kilowatts rated AC drive. The drive includes an integrated line filter, braking resistor and supports electronic secure restart inhibit. ACOPOS series drives have a modular architecture. Operators can select from a wide range of plug in modules to match the drives to requirement. The number of slots on the 8V1045.00-1 for plug in modules is four. The plug in modules can be damaged by electrostatic discharge and must be handled accordingly. Prior to plug module installation or removal, ACOPOS drives should be disconnected from the mains power and 24 Volts DC supply. When installing various ACOPOS series devices directly next to each other, B&R recommends aligning the vertical position so that the LED displays of the respective devices line up.

Cooling systems are used to maintain permissible ambient temperature levels of the ACOPOS servo drives in control cabinets. Filter fans and outlet filters should be arranged on the control cabinet in such a way that the air is taken in from below and exits above. Only well-sealed control cabinets are used. Otherwise, contaminated ambient air could permeate the control cabinet. The 8V1045.00-1 is a drive variant with coated circuit boards. The drive unit supports 400 to 480 Volts AC three-phase mains input voltage with 10% permitted variation. The total installed load is 5 kVA. The drive draws 7 Amps at startup. The specified maximum power loss is 180 Watts. One motor can be connected to the drive output. The continuous output current rating is 4.4 Amps. Peak power output of the braking resistor on the 8V1045.00-1 is 7 kilowatts and the continuous power output is 200 watts.
