Product Description

B&R Industrial Automation GmBH manufactures machine and factory control systems, HMI, and motion control. The ACOPOS servo drive family is one of the complete automation solutions manufactured by B&R. This is an intuitive tool that works with very short sampling times. It is used for the operation of synchronous and induction motors. The ACOPOS servo drive family is used in several industries such as the packaging industry, handling technology, plastics processing, paper and printing, textile industry, wood industry, metalworking industry, and semiconductor industry.

The 8V1010.00-2 is a model of the ACOPOS servo drives manufactured by B&R. It has a modular mechanical design and is equipped with three slots for plugin modules. This servo drive is used for applications that require additional positioning tasks such as torque limitation or torque control. An additional 24V DC supply voltage serves as backup power for the servo drive. It is equipped with an integrated brake resistor which is linked to the DC bus using a brake chopper and converts the braking energy into heat.

The main input voltage of the 8V1010.00-2 is a three-phase voltage between 400V and 480 V with a 10% allowance. It is equipped with an integrated line filter in line with EN 61800-3. This servo drive uses an integrated safe pulse disabling feature for stable shutdown and to avoid unwanted startup. It is designed to be installed in a control cabinet in an environment with non-conductive pollution. Its cooling is via natural convection with heat radiation outwards via the control cabinet. It should be operated at an ambient temperature between 5°C and 55°C and relative humidity between 5 to 85%.
