The 8ECM0020.1523C-0 is an assembled motion-system cable from B & R Automation's ACOPOS P3 Cables series. It links drive modules to motors in industrial automation and carries three-phase power together with auxiliary circuits through one routed cable. The assembly is terminated with an 8-pin female Speedtec connector in size 1.5, which supports fast, keyed engagement in control cabinets and drag-chain carriers.

The mixed conductor set is rated at 4x10 + 2x0.75 + 2x1.5 mm², with four 10 mm² conductors for motor phases and smaller pairs for brake release and encoder supply. The cable has an overall diameter of 20.1 mm, which keeps bundling compact without reducing copper cross section. It can continuously carry 64.6 A under nominal thermal loading, and drive output is supported at up to 1000 VAC. The molded jacket provides IP66/67 (Connected) protection when mated, so dust and washdown fluid cannot reach the cores once the plug is latched. Electrical integrity is also supported by an insulation resistance of at least 500 MΩ·km, a power loop resistance of 2 Ω/km or less, and a 4 kV impulse withstand level. Inside the molded backshell, both the power conductors and the signal bundle are crimped to reduce contact heating during high-dynamic duty cycles.

The supplied length of 20 m covers typical gantry or robot axes without requiring extra cable joints. The assembly is rated for at least 5,000,000 continuous flex cycles when installed on a moving carrier with a minimum bend radius of >154 mm. A low-friction, cut-resistant outer layer of TPU helps prevent jacket abrasion and supports smooth travel through energy chains. With a mass of 10.8 kg, the cable places less tensile stress on connectors during rapid pick-and-place motion and can help with counterbalance sizing on vertical axes.
