The 8ECM0020.1111C-0 is a flexible servo-grade cable manufactured by B & R Automation for the ACOPOS P3 Cables series. It combines power and feedback conductors in one jacket so that ACOPOS P3 drives can connect to moving machine axes without separate wiring. Within industrial automation, the cable supplies motor current and encoder signals while tolerating continuous motion inside drag chains and on articulated robots. This format also helps keep moving cable paths compact in tightly packed machine layouts.

Its conductor layout is 4× 1.5 mm² + 2× 2× 0.75 mm², with the larger cores carrying phase current and the paired smaller cores handling sensor lines. The assembly supports a continuous load of 17.8 A, and insulation rated for 1000 VAC helps protect against overvoltage when the drive starts. Mechanical life reaches ≥5,000,000 bending cycles, making the cable suitable for high-duty looping applications. When latched to the 8-pin female Speedtec motor connector, the housing achieves IP66/67 when connected, which helps prevent dust or fluid ingress during washdown procedures. An outside diameter of 12.2 mm ± 0.3 mm allows routing through standard energy chains, while eight internal contacts match the connector pin count and power line resistance is limited to 13.7 Ω/km. The moving temperature range spans −20 °C to +80 °C, and static storage up to +90 °C is permitted.

During service, the cable can travel along guides at up to 300 m/min, provided each bend maintains a radius of more than 94 mm. Electrical integrity is supported by an insulation resistance of ≥500 MΩ·km, and dielectric strength is verified by a wire-to-wire test voltage of 4 kV. The slim outer profile fits carrier links closely, and its specified tolerance helps cable glands seal consistently.
