The 8ECH0025.1312A-0 is a hybrid power-and-signal cable assembled by B & R Automation for the ACOPOS P3 Cables series. Designed for servo drive installations, the assembly combines motor supply conductors, encoder lines, and auxiliary voltage leads into one sheath, simplifying wiring in industrial automation cells. This arrangement reduces the number of separate cable runs and helps keep moving-axis routing more compact. It is suited to installations that need a single cable for both power delivery and feedback transmission.

This cable delivers up to 30 A through its four power cores, allowing direct connection of high-current ACOPOS P3 servo modules. The mated connection has a dust- and water-sealing rating of IP66/67, so it can be mounted on machines without additional housings. The interface on the drive side uses a 13-Pin Female SpeedTec Hybrid connector that locks with a quarter-turn mechanism, and connector size 1 keeps the molded backshell compact enough for tight panel spaces. The quarter-turn lock helps the connection stay secure on equipment exposed to regular motion and vibration. In energy chains, the assembly tolerates continuous motion at 5 m/s and withstands approximately 3,000,000 flex cycles.

The external cable diameter of 15.7 mm permits routing through standard drag-chain separators while still leaving room for cooling air gaps. A rugged PUR outer jacket resists cutting oils and weld spatter in manufacturing environments. Internally, the motor phase path uses 4 × 4 mm² copper conductors, and sensor feedback is carried through an 8-Pin Male Mini I/O plug that mates directly with B & R encoder modules. Separate supply lines of 2 × 1 mm² plus two twisted signal pairs of 0.15 mm² complete the hybrid layout for control, feedback, and auxiliary power in one flexible cable. This mixed conductor arrangement supports power transfer and signal transmission without requiring a second cable on the same moving axis.
