The 8ECH0010.1B41C-0 is a pre-assembled servo motor cable produced by B & R Automation within the ACOPOS P3 Cables series. Designed for the ACOPOS P3 drive system, the assembly carries power, signal, and encoder feedback between the drive and the motor in one sheath. By combining these paths, the cable reduces panel wiring effort and ensures deterministic transmission required for tightly coordinated motion axes in industrial automation cells. It is intended for routing in drag chains as well as for fixed cabinet installations.

At the drive-side interface, the cable terminates in an 8-pin female Speedtec hybrid motor connector, while the motor-side harness adds an 8-pin male Mini I/O encoder connector to separate feedback conductors. Internally, four power cores of 1.5 mm², two auxiliary conductors of 0.75 mm², and a pair of 24 AWG signal wires are laid concentrically; the cable cross section is 4×1.5 mm² + 2×0.75 mm² + 2×24 AWG. The PUR outer jacket limits the finished bundle to an external diameter of 13.2 mm ±0.3 mm and supports a connected sealing level of IP66/67 against dust and water. Electrical integrity is supported by a wire-to-wire voltage withstand of 4 kV and an insulation resistance of ≥500 MΩ·km, providing margin for servo bus voltages and noise immunity.

The factory-cut length is 10 m, supporting wall routing while keeping voltage drop within allowable limits. During continuous flexing, the conductor set tolerates ambient temperatures from -40 °C to +90 °C, and it remains functional from -50 °C to +90 °C when stationary. Power cores sized at 1.5 mm² have a conductor resistance of ≤13.3 Ω/km and can carry up to 20.2 A when mounted on a wall. Separate 0.75 mm² supply pairs feed brakes or fans, while two 24 AWG shielded leads carry encoder signals. The PUR sheath resists oil and abrasion, preserving performance through millions of drag-chain cycles.
