Product Description:

The 8ECF0007.1221C-0 cable is produced by B & R Automation for use within the ACOPOS P3 Cables series. It is a combined power and feedback lead that links an ACOPOS P3 servo drive to its motor-mounted encoder, carrying supply, signal, and protective earth conductors in one molded assembly. Used in industrial automation, the cable preserves signal integrity and simplifies routing through dynamic drag-chain installations. Its drag-chain-compliant design also tolerates continuous torsion along moving joints.

It is supplied in a length of 7 m, giving sufficient reach between the cabinet and a moving axis. The outer sheath is made of PUR, which resists cutting oils and supports a minimum bend radius of 19 mm during installation. During operation, the cable may flex in drag chains at speeds up to 4 m/s and accelerations up to 6 g, and its construction is rated for at least 30 000 000 continuous flex cycles. All conductors share a low-voltage rating of ≤30 V, and the molded overmold with sealed connectors maintains a protection level of IP66/67 against dust and water.

The conductor set is 4 × 0.14 mm² + 4 × 0.35 mm², which helps keep signal lines and power pairs separated while minimizing overall cable diameter. A braided shield with copper/tin ≥85 % coverage is bonded to the connector backshell to limit electromagnetic interference, and the wire-to-shield dielectric can withstand 0.5 kV while adjacent conductors tolerate up to 1 kV in wire-to-wire tests. The assembly weighs 0.41 kg, provides an insulation resistance above 200 MΩ·km, and terminates with an 8-pin male Mini I/O for the encoder and a 12-pin female Series 615 plug for system signals.
