8V128M.001-2 is an AC servo drive. It is designed by B & R Automation for industrial motor control. The drive has a modular design with four slots for plug in modules. An integrated category C3 line filter provides protection from anomalies in the input power supply. The drive can be used with an internal or external braking resistor. The drive also features an integrated internal electronic restart inhibit features. The circuit boards used on the device are partially coated for environmental protection. The permissible network configurations are TT and TN. The mains input voltage range is 400 to 480 Volts AC (3-phase, 50/60 Hertz). The drive can handle 98 kVA installed load. The specified inrush current at 400 Volts AC is 26 Amps. The switch-on interval for the unit is more than 10 seconds.
The nominal power dissipation is 3200 Watts when a braking resistor is not used. Capacitance of the DC bus is 6600 microfarads. The 8V128M.001-2 drive has one motor connection.
