The 8CCH01X5.11110-1 is a hybrid servo-drive cable offered by B&R Automation within the 8CC ACOPOSremote Hybrid Cables series. It combines motor power, control signals, and Ethernet-based feedback in one assembly, allowing remote ACOPOS drive modules to be mounted inside the machine while the controller remains in the main cabinet. By combining these functions in one cable, it reduces the number of separate connections and supports stable data exchange in industrial automation cells. This arrangement also helps keep cable routing compact on machines where installation space is limited.
The internal layout uses a composite conductor set of 5x 2.5 mm² + 2x 2x 0.75 mm² + 2x 2x 0.34 mm². All current-carrying elements use tinned copper stranded wire, which supports low DC resistance and flexibility during repeated motion. A dedicated power bundle of 5 x 2.5 mm² supplies the servo inverter, while control signals are carried through 4 x 0.75 mm² cores. Encoder and real-time Ethernet traffic run through 4 x 0.34 mm² shielded data conductors, helping preserve differential impedance during continuous movement. This conductor arrangement keeps power, signal, and communication paths separated within the same cable body.
Electromagnetic interference is limited by a tinned copper braid and foil shield with 360-degree bonding to chassis ground at both ends. The cable is terminated with 2 x 15-pin TYCO female connectors, providing the 15-contact interface required by ACOPOSremote modules and removing the need for manual pin assignment. The orange outer jacket is made of PUR, which offers oil resistance and supports continuous flexing, while PE insulation surrounds each conductor. When connected, the assembly meets IP65 protection, helping keep airborne dust and wash-down splashes away from the mated interface.
