B & R Automation manufactures the 8CCH0018.11230-1 hybrid cable within the 8CC ACOPOSremote Hybrid Cables series. The assembly combines power conductors, signal pairs, and data lines inside one jacket so that ACOPOSremote servo modules receive supply voltage, feedback, and communication through a single routed item. In industrial automation, this reduces panel wiring and simplifies drag-chain installation for distributed motion axes. A factory-installed 15-pin female TYCO connector terminates the cabinet side, allowing the cable to plug directly into the remote drive without field crimping and keeping the connection layout consistent.

The cable has an outer diameter of 14.6 mm ±0.4 mm, which lets it fit standard energy-chain separators. Its conductor arrangement of 5x2.5 + 4x0.75 + 2x2x0.34 mm² supports the power, control, and signal needs of one ACOPOSremote axis inside a single jacket. At the factory length of 18 m, the cable can carry a continuous 29.1 A in a ventilated cable tray, and the power cores have a resistance of no more than 8 Ω/km. The insulation system supports up to 1000 V between conductors and shield, while the data pairs are limited to 100 V to protect interface electronics. A PUR jacket resists abrasion and coolant exposure, and the insulation resistance remains at least 500 MΩ·km to limit leakage.

For dynamic service, the cable is rated for at least 5,000,000 bending cycles. It can operate in drag chains at speeds up to 300 m/min, and a minimum moving bend radius of 150 mm helps protect the layered cores from strand fatigue during repeated travel. The molded overmold and screw-locking hardware are intended for 20 mating operations so that contact pressure stays stable over repeated connections. When coupled, the assembly reaches an IP65 ingress rating that blocks dust and washdown jets along the machine frame. The reel mass is 6.48 kg, which keeps the harness manageable on moving axes without changing its electrical or thermal performance.
