On the drive side, the cable uses a 15-pin female TYCO connector with all required contacts for the mixed power and communication layout. Each data conductor has a cross-section of 0.34 mm² and is rated for ≤100 V, which suits low-voltage communication circuits inside the assembly. The cable has an overall diameter of 14.6 mm ±0.4 mm, which is useful when selecting drag-chain carriers, routing clamps, and entry glands.
