The 8CCH0004.11230-1 is a hybrid cable assembled by B & R Automation for the 8CC ACOPOSremote Hybrid Cables series. It links ACOPOSremote servo drives to their decentralized power and communication modules in industrial automation lines. By combining power conductors, control signals, and real-time data channels inside a single shielded jacket, the product reduces cabinet wiring and simplifies drag-chain routing in motion systems. The design supports moving axes where both motor power and Ethernet-based bus traffic must remain synchronized during continuous flexing.

At the conductor level, the hybrid profile uses a cross section of 5x2.5 + 2x2x0.75 + 2x2x0.34 mm², with five 2.5 mm² power cores, two twisted pairs for 24 V auxiliary supply, and two finer pairs for differential data. When routed in a cable tray, the bundle can carry 29.1 A, allowing simultaneous transmission of drive and brake power. Dielectric strength reaches 3 kV wire-to-wire for the 2.5 mm² elements, which helps protect adjacent channels from transient overvoltage. The outer jacket is PUR, a material that resists oils and torsional stress, and the assembly reaches IP65 protection once mated to keep out dust and water jets. Foil shielding with filler elements helps reduce electromagnetic coupling, and approval for drag-chain use supports more than one million bending cycles without conductor fatigue.

Each end uses 180° rotated coupling hardware so the servo and control cabinet terminations align without twisting the cable. The cable uses a factory-installed 15-pin female TYCO connector that combines power, signal, and data in a single plug. The harness incorporates 2 connectors in total, so no field crimping is required during installation. Inside each plug are 15 contacts that serve the power, signal, and data conductors, and the foil shield is bonded to the shell to maintain ground continuity during movement.
