B & R Automation supplies the 8BCM0015.3034C-0 in its 8BC ACOPOS Cables series. This pre-assembled cord set combines motor power conductors with shielded feedback conductors, so a single run supports both torque generation and position data on ACOPOS servo axes. By integrating the circuits into one molded cable, it shortens installation time and reduces enclosure congestion in automated packaging, assembly, and material-handling cells. It also reduces the number of separate cable runs that must be routed between the drive and the motor.
The electrical core is organized as 4×0.75 mm² + 2×0.34 mm². The four larger conductors deliver three-phase power, while the remaining conductors carry encoder signals. Each conductor uses tinned copper stranded wire, which helps limit corrosion and maintain flexibility during continuous motion. A layer of PP insulation surrounds every conductor to maintain dielectric spacing before the overall shield. At the motor end, the cable terminates in an 8-Pin female Series 915 connector that mates directly with standard ACOPOS motor flanges. The power conductors support up to 9.8 A of continuous current, enabling small-frame servo motors to reach rated torque without thermal overload.
